Andrew Jewell, rezidentni predstavnik MMF-a u BiH, demantirao je navode premijera Republike Srpske Radovana Viškovića da će BiH dobiti kredit od Međunarodnog monetarnog fonda po najpovoljnijim uslovima i to bez provedenih reformi.
Višković je kazao da mu je odlazeći šef MMF-a u BiH Martin Petri rekao da je ova institucija spremna bez ikakvih početnih uslova već u septembru BiH dati 300 miliona eura.
– Tačno je, međutim, da će BiH dobiti taj iznos novca od MMF-a, ali to nema nikakve veze sa kreditom niti onim o čemu priča Višković. Radi se o tome da je MMF za sve svoje članice, njih 190, izdvojio 650 milijardi američkih dolara generalne SDR alokacije za podršku rezervama i likvidnosti tih zemalja. Iznosi na koji neka država ima pravo izračunava se na osnovu kvota, pa tako kvota BiH iznosi 0,06 posto ili 300 miliona eura – pojasnio je Jewell u intervjuu za današnje “Oslobođenje”.
Dalje je naveo da se 300 miliona eura koje spominje Višković odnosi se na nešto što se zove generalna alokacija SDR- a. U kontekstu globalne pandemije stvara se okruženje koje će omogućiti izdvajanje novih 650 milijardi američkih dolara generalne SDR alokacije za podršku rezervama i likvidnosti svih zemalja članica MMF-a. Alokacija će pomoći zemljama članicama da dobiju sredstva za podupiranje rezervi ili za kupovinu vakcina i podršku ekonomskom oporavku.
– Zvanični prijedlog je trenutno u fazi pripremanja i mogao bi postati efektivan kasnije ove godine, moguće je i krajem augusta. Prema ovom prijedlogu, BiH bi trebala dobiti oko 300 miliona eura – rekao je za “Oslobođenje” Jewell.
