(Ne)uspjeh prvaka sa Mariom Stanićem novi je serijal sportskih emisija, koji će se od sredine prvog
mjeseca ekskluzivno emitirati na Arena sport Premium kanalima. U fokusu su životne ispovijesti
najvećih bivših i sadašnjih sportskih ličnosti sa prostora bivše Jugoslavije, koje će, između ostalog,
otvoreno i emotivno govoriti o preprekama i padovima na svom sportskom putu, te kako su ih uspjeli
prevazići, izboriti se sa njima i (iz)graditi sjajne sportske karijere.
U ulozi voditelja po prvi put će se naći bivši nogometaš Mario Stanić́, koji je i sam imao vrlo bogatu i
trofejima okićenu sportsku karijeru. U sezoni 1991./1992. nastupajući za sarajevski Željezničar bio je
najbolji strijelac prvenstva, sa zagrebačkim Dinamom i belgijskim Club Bruggeom osvojio je titulu
prvaka, kao igrač̌ Parme Calcio 1913 osvojio je Cup Italije i nekadašnji Cup UEFA-e. Karijeru je
okončao u Chelseau, pod trenerskom palicom Jose Mourinha. Ostat će upamćen i kao strijelac prvog,
historijskog gola Hrvatske na svjetskim prvenstvima, kao i član hrvatske generacije koja je osvojila
broncu na Svjetskom prvenstvu 1998. godine.
„Dok sam igrao u najjačim evropskim klubovima, na sve su me pripremali osim na
poraze, koji su sastavni dio života i sa kojima se svi različito nosimo. Kada me
pitaju koliko je odricanja, rada, boli i nepravde potrebno podnijeti da biste nešto
napravili, kažem: i previše. Zapravo, ne postoji lagan put, ne postoji uspjeh kojem
nisu prethodili porazi i to je ono o čemu ću razgovarati sa svojim gostima u ovoj emisiji. Želim da

sportaša koji će govoriti za ’(Ne)uspjeh prvaka’.
Serijal na otvoren, emotivan, povremeno i na zabavan način pristupa svim aspektima sporta i
sportskog razvoja – očekivanja, suparništvo, ponos, zajedništvo, poraze, pobjede, te ukazuje na to da
se, osim talenta i vrijednog rada, iza svakog uspjeha krije mnogo odricanja, boli i neplaniranih
okolnosti. Uz sve to, odličan je i sportski vremeplov, jer obiluje izuzetno vrijednim dokumentarnim
materijalima, fotografijama i video materijalima, koji podsjećaju na historijske trenutke sagovornika
